About Adirondack Tree Experts
Adirondack was formed in June of 1994 by John & Felicia Anna with a 1978 Ford F-350 and two old chainsaws being the only company assets. During the past 30 years Adirondack has grown significantly to become one of the largest tree care and removal companies in the Washington Metropolitan area.
With twelve active crews in the field to include crane and bucket services, Adirondack has been able to effectively service residential, commercial and municipal clients with superior service. In 2005, we became one of only three companies in the State of Maryland to earn the industry’s highest credential; accreditation by the Tree Care Industry Association. In 2006, we were awarded our first ever Checkbook Magazine “Check of Quality” for having one of the highest customer service ratings in the entire region. We continue to this day to enjoy an “overall” rating of 98% with our “Checkbook” clients. In addition, we were awarded the “Angie’s List Super Service Award” for the first time in 2007 for superior service to our clients and we have maintained this distinction each and every year since. Washingtonian Magazine, Bethesda Magazine and the Washington Post Local Living Magazine all rate “Adirondack” as one of the very best tree care and removal companies in the Washington Metro area. We currently employ nearly 60 wonderful people who take their profession very seriously. Of those 60, we have 12 Maryland Licensed Tree Experts, 10 EHAP Arborists and 8 who are I.S.A. Certified Arborists. Nearly every one of our employees is certified by the American Red Cross in First Aid and CPR and all are Certified Traffic Flaggers.
In addition to our achievements in the realm of customer service and credentialed employees, we have also become extremely active in our community.
